Habakkuk 3:17-18

"Though the fig tree should not blossom,
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail,
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold,
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation."

This verse really convicted me this morning when I read it! Can we be content and joyful in the King even when things are not beautiful or things are not going as we would like?! I pray and hope so! Praise God He is faithful! thank you Ana! I miss you so much! Praying for you dear friend.

love,
Becca

I think what hit me when I read it, is that it isn't really the things, the stuff, the harvest that we're grateful for. It's that we have a God who would want to provide it. It's that we're to be grateful we have a good God at all. He is goodness, and His goodness is not dependent on what we are given.
